The Port Melbourne Sharks Soccer Club is headquartered at SS Anderson Reserve within the JL Murphy Reserve, Port Melbourne. The clubhouse is made up of a large hall, canteen, bathrooms, as well as four change rooms to cater for both home and away sides.

The main soccer pitch (SS Anderson Reserve) is a high-quality surface, meeting the requirements of Football Victoria and the National Premier Leagues. It includes Australian standard flood lights and grandstand seating. Our fields are open to the public outside training hours and game days.

The facilities were of a sufficient standard to warrant being used as training facilities for both the Commonwealth and Olympic Games. The facilities also received some minor upgrades for use as a training venue for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.  

In season 2025, we are proud that PMSC, with the support of the City of Port Phillip Council, are upgrading our Main Pitch and Pitch 2 grass surfaces. The Club in collaboration with the City of Port Phillip Council are also upgrading Pitch 3 to a synthetic surface, enabling improved training and match facilities for the benefit of player development for our club and the greater community.

Working in conjunction with the City of Port Phillip Council, we’re making changes to become a more sustainable club.

The Club sees our role as environmental stewards, guiding us in minimising our impact on the planet while driving efficiency, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement for our community, members and partners.

We are committed to sourcing a significant portion of our products from local and regional suppliers, with a focus on showcasing the best of Victoria. This approach supports local economies, reduces our carbon footprint, and ensures the freshest menu for our members and guests.

New grandstand seating was installed at the start of 2020, made locally from recycled soft plastics.

Bike racks have been installed outside the main front gates on Plummer Street, along with the addition of a council water fountain adjacent to Pitch 2. This will make it easier for players to top-up their reusable water bottles and cut down on single-use plastics.

The Port Melbourne Sharks club hall transforms from a traditional community club house to an inclusive, connected and accessible location for your next business event, conference, meeting or social celebration.

Our location at 430 Plummer Street Port Melbourne is only a 10 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD, with excellent access to transport links, ample parking and space to cater to all your function or event needs.

With an eye for detail our core purpose is to support and grow the Port Melbourne Soccer Club as a focal point of the JL Murphy sporting precinct and as a multi-dimensional destination for events and celebrations.
